Analogy between Plant’s cells with Smartphone’s components

 

1. Nucleus (cell nucleus) = processor
The nucleus is one of the main centers of cells where the function of the nucleus is to coordinate the metabolic processes in the cell which has same function with processor in our smartphone as the main “brain” to process task in phone.

2. The chloroplasts (plastids) = Lcd
Plastids are part of the plant cell organelles that carry the pigment.  It can be said has the similar function with lcd in smartphone to see the carry process that is happening.

3. Ribosomes = OS
This has become a ribosome for protein synthesis and cell organelle is composed of protein and ribonucleic acid (40 and 60%). As similar as Operating System just like ios or android, as the media to do the process.

4. Mitochondria = battery
The point is to break down complex carbohydrate and sugars that can be used by the plant itself. Having same function with battery to give power to the smartphone.

5. Golgi Body = RAM
Its function to transport chemicals from and out of the cell after the fats and proteins are synthesized ole endoplasmic reticulum. Just like RAM in smartphone to create a way and make sure that a phone can process many task.

6. The endoplasmic reticulum = motherboard pcb
The main function of this cell organelle is as the link between the nucleus and cytoplasm in plants. In PCB of smartphone, we can see the line of motherboard which has same function as the connector between components. 

7. vacuole = mmc
The function is to regulate turgor pressure, as well as save a lot of chemicals, even helping digestion intracellular complex molecules. Memory card in smartphone has similar function as the place to save data.

8. peroxisome = touch screen
Its function is to break down fatty acids into sugar, as well as help chloroplasts in photorespiration process. Touchscreen can help user to process data or to close process if there’s something wrong with smartphone.
