he observed on a incision of cork and found that the structure similar to beehive, and the smallest unit on that cavity is called a cell and it can only be seen by using microscope.
Schleiden (1804-1881) dan T. Schwann (1810-1882)
They contributed in discovering of plant and animal cells. Schleiden did the research
about plant and discovered that cell is the smallest unit from plant's structure. T. Schwann also did the same thing with animal and stated the smallest unit in animal structure is cell.
Max Schultze (1825-1874)
He stated that protoplasm is the basics of physical life and the structure where the process of life.
